LEAGUE INFORMATION
The Chester County Travel Basketball Alliance has been created to provide an opportunity for recreational programs to participate in a travel program. All teams must be affiliated with a recreational club/program. There will be no AAU teams allowed or random teams that are formed without the affiliation of a recreational program. The league is designed so that all the best players from each recreational club can compete at a higher level of competition.
The League will be responsible for all the following:
1. Create and establish all league rules.
2. Handle all rule discrepancies and violations.
3. Schedule all regular season and playoff games.
4. Track and post all wins and losses on the website.
5. Conduct all preseason meetings via zoom.
6. Organize and file are necessary paperwork for each team.
The Recreational program will be responsible for the following:
1. Securing gym facilities for their home games
2. Provide two PIAA officials for each game.
3. Complete all necessary paperwork required by the league.
4. Attend all preseason meetings via zoom.
5. Provide 8 home dates for games. 2 must be during the week. Only 6 dates will be used.
6. Report scoring of the game if you are the winning team.
There will be a total of 6 age groups ranging from 8u through 13u. Both boys’ and girls’ divisions will be available. There will be an “A” division as well as a “B” division for each age group.
The league will consist of 12 regular season games followed by playoffs. Trophies will be awarded to the winner of each division.
